My Idea Book - I came up with this "Idea Book" to get rid of my mountain of magazines. I have my 3 ring binder with all of my ideas neatly placed into plastic sheet protectors. I have it separated into categories:*Decorating Inspiration
*Holidays
*Scrapbooking
*Recipes
*Organization Ideas
*Misc
Tip Jar - I have this jar sitting by the washer & dryer to put spare change in...I usually only find pennies ;) I used stickers to spell "Tip Jar" it makes me smile everytime I find change while doing laundry.

Ialready have a piggy bank in my laundry room. But that idea with the binder is definitely a must have. It will solve my storage problem..
oh yes, I have one of those binders! THey work out so perfect! and I have a tip jar but Im lovin the stickers on yours! I might borrow your idea and decorate mine too!
And doesn't it feel great to be able to clear out a stack of magazines and be left with just the great ideas! I have a couple of these devoted just to Martha:)

I am stealing your tip jar idea!!! I have an old shell, yes from the beach, that I keep spare change in, but am going to get a pretty jar and spell out TIPS on it. I found $11.00 in the wash months ago and no one has claimed it!!!
2 things! first. i've just spent DAYS organizing all the magazine stuff into notebooks. funny and two, love the "reactions" how did you get that?

Great idea. I have a tip jar, but I have lots of quarters and dollar bills. But thats what I pay the boys with when they do extra chores ie helping me clean the gutters. And when I get cash for something, ie costco rebate- I will put $ in my jar. My mom always had a stash of cash in a jar, and always moved it around so my brothers wouldn't steal. My boys haven't tried that. So its in a shelf in the kitchen cupboards.
You're too cute and organized. *Sigh* Back to feeling inadequate over here. LOL!
