Day 4 Progress of Our Cape Cod

So...It is day 4 of our renovation. Our goal is to move in on May 1st!

Here is our soon to be kitchen, the hubby had to make it a bit smaller because of the support beams for moving the stairs. We will be replacing the two smaller windows with one larger window.

I am almost finished gutting the bathroom. I decided to tile the surround. When removing the wall behind the toilet we found an extra closet that the previous owners had blocked off!?! How stupid, the toilet will be moved back into the closet space and the vanity will be sitting in a closet that was in the hallway which is now blocked off and open to the bathroom.

Here is another view of the newly moved stairs.

Again. LOVE IT!

Where the stairs used to be.

These are our kitchen cabinet door fronts Before

Again...
Now with trim...They will be painted a creamy white and will have new SHINY {Bling Bling :)} knobs.
SEED STARTING UPDATES
Now Remeber back in my post about gardening...Well now I have a yard to garden in, so I started some of my seeds. Today is the first day they sprouted. YAY! I have never had a garden so lets see how it works out!

*Tip: I used Large Popsicle Sticks to label my seeds {tounge depressers}

I am so far behind. I haven't even started my seeds!!! But then again it's still so cold outside! Okay, who would close up a closet and put a toilet in front of it?? I'm sure your place is going to be great! Love the pictures!!! Keep up the good work, May will be here soon!

Wow- May 1st! Sounds like a plan! Why would anyone block off a closet? Weird.

WOW! You really did start over from scratch! This looks great though - and I can't believe the transformation of the kitchen doors with just the trim added to the edges! AMAZING! You're definitely going to have to do a ton of before and after shots, I have a feeling this is gonna be magazine worthy! :)
